G.W.A.V.A. Grants and Scholarships

Program Grant
In an effort to encourage and support community service initiatives, G.W.A.V.A. will offer one (1) to three (3) grants of up to $200 each, each calendar year, for a G.W.A.V.A. agency to develop a new service project or program. Through the implementation of projects, G.W.A.V.A. will empower its members to develop new partnerships that will foster community service.

Professional Development Scholarship
In an effort to encourage and support professional growth G.W.A.V.A. will offer one (1) to three (3) scholarships of up to $200 each for G.W.A.V.A. members to attend a volunteer related conference or workshop.  G.W.A.V.A.’s financial support will empower recipients to further develop skills and better our community.
